Miss Christina Watters
Grade 1
“My classroom has an inclusive and caring atmosphere in which children feel important as individuals and are excited about learning and I strive to accommodate children’s diverse rates and styles of learning through differentiated lessons. I have a particular interest in fostering a love of literacy in my students. My experience working with the IB Primary Years Programme has helped me to implement a hands-on, inquiry-based approach into all classroom activities.”
Miss Watters received her Bachelor of Arts, Cultural Studies (Theatre Studies Focus) from Trent University, Ontario in 1997 and her Bachelor of Education from Queen’s University, Ontario in 1998.
Miss Watters’ comes to Aspengrove from the Canadian International School of Singapore where she held the position of Lead Teacher for a team of nine Grade 1 teachers. With eleven years of teaching experience working in Canada, Columbia, Bahrain, United Kingdom and China, Miss Watters is excited to return to her home country of Canada to teach at Aspengrove School.
