Michael Vincent graduated from the University of Victory with a Bachelor of Arts Degree – specializing in History and English Literature. Michael graduated from the Post Degree Professional Internship Program from UVIC as well, participating in a one year practicum at Mt. Boucherie Secondary School in Kelowna B.C. Michael has participated in a wide variety of educational programs including: athletics, debate team, feminist club, jazz band, media literacy programs, film study, and fund raising efforts for the Joy Kogawa House, the Kelowna Women’s shelter, and the people suffering in the Darfur region. Michael has a passion for history and media literacy, and believes strongly in critical thinking and the need to continue learning throughout one’s life. Michael Vincent believes that the classroom should be a place that is interesting, engaging, challenging, motivating, thought-provoking, rewarding, and – last but not least – fun
