April 16, 2019 @ 7:00 pm

Please join us for a special screening of the film “Screenagers” on April 16th @ 7 PM. “Screenagers” was created by physician Delaney Ruston in response to her teenage daughter’s request for a new smartphone. The film draws attention to the growing concerns around young minds and “screen-time” and provides some good context for the recent changes around Aspengrove School student cell phone policy. From the film’s website: “Through poignant, and unexpectedly funny stories, along with surprising insights from authors, psychologists, and brain scientists, SCREENAGERS reveals how tech time impacts kids’ development and offers solutions on how adults can empower kids to best navigate the digital world and find balance.” The majority of the student body has viewed a shortened “student version” of this film already but all are more than welcome to attend. Please feel free to invite friends from the wider community. We hope to see you there!
