With the students heading off on a five-day holiday this afternoon, Aspengrove held its annual Remembrance Day Ceremony this morning, in advance of the official date. As always it was a solemn and moving occasion with students showing great respect for this important event, joined by two veterans, one from WWII and the other, a current parent, from Afghanistan.

As so typically happens at Aspengrove,  the ceremony was entirely student-led and included words from our student council President and Vice-President, a reading of In Flander’s Field and performances by the senior band and junior choirs.
